Burano

Burano is one of the most colourful islands in the Venetian Lagoon. It holds a deep fascination for me as a photographer, colourful images adorn every canalside street. Home to a community of fishermen, lace makers and artists it provides a community atmosphere where even the washing lines are a work of art exhibited in the narrow streets where they also provide wonderful reflections in the canal.
