I first photographed motor racing at Silverstone in 1963 but following a visit to the Monaco Grand Prix in 1967 I was given the opportunity to photograph the international motor racing scene for Agfa Gevaert in 1968,1969 and early 1970.
NEW BOOK
2018 saw the 50th anniversary of the UK's fastest circuit - Thruxton in Hampshire. I was a flag marshal for the very first Easter Monday international meeting in 1968 but photographed the 1969 Easter Monday event for Agfa Gevaert.
To celebrate Thruxton's 50th anniversary I have self published a new book 'Thruxton Revisited'. Not only does the book contain my 1969 and 1970 images but also those from the very first international meeting, courtesy of the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) Archives together with memories from those who have played an important role in Thruxton's history over the years.

PLEASE NOTE
It is with regret that I have decided to remove my self-published books through BLURB.
Unfortunately BLURB have significantly increased material and printing costs and this no longer renders the publications viable.
It is shortly my intention to make PDF versions available at a cost of £6 each and once payment is received via Paypal these will be sent to the purchaser via WeTransfer.
If you wish to order please email me and I will advise Paypal details
It was quite unique to have received the opportunity to photograph my favourite sport and later to have my images published in book form in 2009 titled 'Out of the Shadows'.
'OUT OF THE SHADOWS' A book of my 1960's motor racing images published by Halsgrove. Please note this book is now out of print.
I am also honoured that a selection of my images have been chosen for the book 'Jochen Rindt - Uncrowned king' by David Tremayne and published by Haynes. This book is a tremendous tribute to Jochen Rindt, motor racing's first posthumous World Champion.
