This year saw a record number of entries for the 2nd Close Up Photographer of the Year competition - CUPOTY 02
I am very pleased to say that I was one of the finalists this year, reaching the top 100 to be judged.
Considering the extremely high standard of the entries from all over the world I was extremely satisfied to have become one of the finalists
My image was taken as an abstract close up of the colourful reflections in the canals of Burano, an island in the Venetian lagoon.
