I have been an avid motor racing fan for many years as can be seen from my website. However, the 2026 Mexican Grand Prix will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Although I have always been a Mclaren fan and supporter, the arrival of 20 year old Kimi Antonelli on the F1 scene has kept me enthralled. Kimi has always driven with such a natural ability he has been a revelation to watch. I am sure he has a very significant future ahead of him and I will very much enjoy following his progress.
His fellow drivers clearly treat him with respect and it was interesting to see such compliments from Lewis Hamilton who when asked during an interview 'have you any advice for young Kimi?' Hamilton's response was 'Oh yes I would ask him to slow down so I can catch him!!!'.
Many congratulations Kimi
